After conducting our extensive lab and run tests, the Floatride Energy 3 emerged as an easy pick for our best overall Reebok running shoe. This lightweight trainer brilliantly does everything we throw at it thanks to its responsive and balanced midsole as well as its durable outsole.

The Lite 3 lives up to its name by being really lightweight. It's a mere 8.75 oz (248g), which is 0.81 oz (23g) lighter than the average road running shoe. But the shoe has a surprising amount of spring and bounce that makes it an exciting and enjoyable ride.

However, this budget shoe's big downside is its outsole durability. The outsole, which we measured to be 5.4% softer than average, already showed significant signs of wear after just a couple of months.
