The box and shoe read “New Sheriff in Town” marking the turnover of what would become MJ’s dominance as coined by Magic Johnson after The Dream Team’s scrimmage. The pull tab’s multicolor design pays homage to the Olympic rings, alluding to The Dream Team and their gold medal run.
